Clean drinking water is the key to a healthy and long life, but unfortunately, as of 2020, 785 million people do not have access to such a fundamental human right. And that number is only increasing and will continue to rise due to increasing pollution.

What can you do to help?

In the short run, you can donate to one of many organizations and charities that battle this prevalent problem, providing at least one child or adult with clean drinking water, even if for a short while.

But, achieving water equality for all is a war that will not be won overnight. Humanity will have to increase awareness and promote the education of water disparity issues until we prioritize our and the Earth’s wellbeing over our greed. That is why I encourage you to learn more regarding these topics and see what you can change in your lifestyle to help decrease water pollution.
